Most Intel quads support VT. Your initial post refers to AMD. Your previous post says Intel. Neither works? The lack of an option for enabling VT in your bios strongly suggests that the problem is with your bios.

Do you have a Sony? Sony disables VT in the bios. Many people with different brands of motherboards have found it necessary to upgrade the bios before getting Windows 7 VPC to work. Have you done this? If you want to run bit guests, have you considered Hyper-V? It is a very high performance Microsoft virtualization platform that supports both bit and bit virtual machines. While I can get along with Server for now since I'm just rigging test machines and stuff I am suprised this is the case. I love the new Windows 7 Virtual PC look, and it has moved along a lot - I use it when telling people why they want Professional or Ultimate edition of Win 7.

To have to move to another piece of software to get around this is a shame. Please Microsoft - hear this feature request and place emphasis on the need for bit guest support in the future!
