The mechanicals are all covered, but such things as the bodies usually are not. I haven't found a service manual for my Terraplane, but I have a MoTor manual that covers it and it has yet to fail me. Antique shops can be a good source of manuals, too.

Would certainly recommend buying the book for the good information.
